On Dec.11th,2018, Dr Tsoi, James Kit Hon from the Faculty of Dentistry, the University of Hong Kong was invited to lecture in our hospital.
Dr Tsoi, James Kit Hon is an Assistant Professor in Dental Materials Science, and the Assistant Dean for undergraduate teaching and scientific research, the Faculty of Dentistry, the University of Hong Kong. He is a young scholar with active thinking and broad vision, who has carried out research in the fields of dental materials and digital stomatology.
On behalf of our hospital, Prof. Chen Zhi (Vice Dean), Dr He Miao (Deputy Director of Scientific Research Office ), Prof. Huang Cui (Director of Department of Prosthodontics) warmly welcomed him and held a talk on scientific research and teaching. Subsequently, accompanied by Prof. Huang Cui, he visited our clinical departments and central lab, and discussed some related issues with dental materials research group.
In the afternoon, Dr Tsoi, James Kit Hon made a wonderful academic report on CAD/CAM ceramic materials for dental prosthodontics, covering the applications, development , and tests of properties of them.
This activity deepened the understanding and friendship between the two sides and laid a good foundation for further cooperation and exchanges in the future.
