In the morning of April 13th, 2018, the delegation of Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) paid a visit to Hospital of Stomatology Wuhan University, including Dr. Rob Grenfell (Health Director of the Health and Biosecurity Business Unit), Dr. Zhang Qing (Team Leader of the Health Internet of Things Team at the Australian e-Health Research Centre) and Ms Wu Siyu (Senior Global Strategy Adviser and Chinese Adviser).



Prof. Bian Zhuan (Dean), Prof. Chen Zhi (Vice Dean), Prof. Shang Zhengjun (Assistant to the Dean), and Prof. Du Minquan (Vice Director of Research Office ) from Hospital of Stomatology Wuhan University got together  with three delegation members to communicated with each other. Prof. Bian Zhuan gave a brief introduction of the environment, current status, trend, innovative scientific development and challenges in Chinese Internet medical treatment (Stomatology). Likewise, Prof. Rob Grenfell introduced the features of the development of Australian Internet medical treatment  industry and technology in CSIRO e-medical treatment industry. Both sides reported the latest research achievements on Internet healthcare, and discussed directions and technological details for further cooperation. Meanwhile, Prof. Bian Zhuan and Prof. Rob Grenfell gave gifts to each other and expressed their greetings respectively. 

In order to make members of the delegation have a deep understanding of the practice on Internet health in Hospital of Stomatology Wuhan University, Prof. Bian Zhuan guided them to visit the Remote Healthcare Centre to present our Internet Medical Projects.

Thanks to the communication between senior leader of both sides, we established a good relationship with each other. The State Council Executive Meeting presided over by Premier Li Keqiang on April 12th, 2018, decided to promote Internet Plus healthcare. Our hospital will respond positively to the call of the Prime Minister and vigorously promote the construction of the Internet Plus medical treatment, so as to alleviate the difficulties of having access to medical treatment and improve the health of our people.
