During May 8^th to 12^th, 2018, Prof. He Hong, Prof. Du Minquan, Prof. Jiang Han and Dr. Hua Fang of our hospital attended the 8^th International Conference on Methodological Issues in Oral Health Research held in the Faculty of Dentistry, the University of Hong Kong (8^th  MIOHR).

During the meeting, our delegation communicated deeply with experts of methodology present at home and abroad and Dr. Hua Fang was invited to make an oral presentation. At the interval of the meeting, our delegation also visited PBL Suite and the Central Research Laboratories (CRL) of the Faculty of Dentistry, the University of Hong Kong, and discussed some issues related to oral medicine education and scientific research with delegates from the Faculty of Dentistry, the University of Hong Kong.

MIOHR refers to an international meeting established by Prof. Emmanuel Lesaffre and Prof. Dominique Declerck of University of Leuven, Belgium in the year of 2004. It is held every two years. The theme of the 8^th MIOHR is “Evidence-Based Dentistry” and it is the first time for the meeting to be held outside of Europe. More than 90 representatives from 15 countries and regions all over the world attended this meeting.
